ICAI Reschedules CA Intermediate Examination 2026 Dates

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, in an important announcement released on 6 April 2026, has stated that the Chartered Accountants Intermediate Examination, which was to be held from 3 May 2026, has now been rescheduled.

As per the institution, the date of the examination has been changed due to some urgent reasons. Now this examination will start from 5 May 2026. The timing of the icai examination will remain the same as before, from 2 pm to 5 pm. According to the new schedule, the Group I exam will be held on 5, 7 and 9 May 2026, while the Group II exam will be held on 11, 13 and 15 May 2026.

It is also clarified that there has been no change in the schedule of the foundational, final, and PQC (INTT-AT) examinations. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website of the institute for updates. This information has been released by the Joint Secretary (Examinations).
